This is an original design for a knife sharpener. This innovative design keeps your blade angle perfect while sharpening. There is also no set up time, there is no clamping the blade, instantly the blade can be sharpened.

The sharpener keeps a perfect angle using a sliding mechanism to guide the blade along the stone. A coarse stone is provided for forming the edge, a fine stone for polishing the edge, and the leather strop finishes the edge making it sharp enough to shave with. The angle is adjustable with a built in goniometer (precise angle adjustment) for angles from 10° to 40°.

As you sharpen the magnets under the angle keep the blade secured tightly against the angle and an optional gate prevents the knife from sliding forward.

After sharpening, the blade can easily slice through vegetables, paper, and wood with ease.

Razor Sharp

I love how simple this knife sharpener is. I’m able to get the perfect angle and keep all my knives very sharp. Great project. I do have questions about your other knife sharpeners but I’m unable to get in contact with you. Is there a way for you to reach out to me? Thank you.

Excellent - First Knife 5 stiches Sharp

I've never been able to sharpen knives prior to receiving my SharpWorx. Bought a set of three cheapo knives on Amazon that reviews said were good steel but extremely dull. Upon sharpening the first knife, took off gloves to apply compound to leather strop. Forgot to reinstall gloves and cut finger tip during stopping, requiring 5 stitches at ER.

I appreciate the review and the positive feedback. It's great to know if worked for you, but I am sorry to hear about your finger.

could be 5star

Great product. Make life easy. could have less complicated more info, like which stone is what grit. Just a little more effort through YOU TUBE to watch to get the info needed.

Hi Brigido, I have updated the instructions to have a picture of the stones offered (220, 600, 1000, and Arkansas Soft Stone). This should help clarify the instructions. In the demonstration video I provide on YouTube I go through the full process of sharpening, is there anything specific that can be improved?

Good quality, weak design

There is good quality of stones , but weak design. Adjustable plastic knife holder is not comfortable and I use this sharpener without this holder.

Hi Vadim,
I appreciate the feedback. Can you provide more description on the weak design, so that your feedback on the sharpener can be addressed in redesigns or updated instructions? Do you have proposed solutions for the issues you faced?

Wow !

Shipping was fast and the sharpener was well packed.
It is very easy to use. Ideal for straight edges, for recurved edges I use the Spyderco Sharpmaker. The instructions can be print out from the web site.
I recommend it.
